This consultation agreement is made between the following parties:

  • Address: 4789 Yonge Street, Unit 1210, Toronto, ON, Canada

  • Review of the information the client provides, and of any documents sent before the session.
  • Discussion of eligibility and of the options available on the facts presented.
  • Explanation of legal requirements, risks and practical next steps.
  • Answers to the client’s questions during the session.

The following are not covered by this agreement: application preparation, completing forms, drafting submissions or documents, filing the application, accessing or managing an immigration account, follow-up after the session, or representation on the file, unless a separate retainer agreement is signed.

3) Format and length of the consultation

  • Length: 30 minutes
  • Late arrival: If the client joins late, the session still ends at the scheduled finish time and is not extended.

4) Fee and payment

  • Consultation fee: CAD 50 (plus HST where applicable)
  • Payment: Payment in full at the time of booking is required to confirm the appointment.

5) No guarantee of outcome

The client understands that the final decision in any immigration matter rests solely with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or another competent authority. The consultant gives no guarantee as to the outcome of a file, the approval of an application, or processing times.

6) Client responsibilities

The client agrees to provide honest, complete and accurate information. The consultant’s advice is based on the facts the client presents. If those facts change, or the information turns out to be incomplete, the advice and guidance may change with them.

7) Cancellation, rescheduling and no-shows

  • Rescheduling requests: Permitted with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
  • Late cancellation or no-show: A cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice, or a failure to attend, is not refundable, because the consultant’s time has been reserved.
  • Cancellation by the consultant: If the consultant has to cancel, the client may choose either a full refund or a rescheduled session.

8) Confidentiality and privacy

The consultant keeps the client’s information confidential and uses it solely to deliver the consultation, subject to legal and professional obligations. The client acknowledges that electronic communication carries privacy risks.

9) No representation before IRCC

This consultation session does not make the consultant your authorised representative before Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). If representation is required, a separate retainer agreement and the relevant forms, such as form IMM 5476, must be signed.

10) Complaints and regulator

If the client has any concern about professional conduct, they may contact the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) using the contact details published on the College’s website.

11) Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
